Risk Evolves narrative and value development

the context

Risk Evolves set out to give small and medium-sized businesses a service normally only available to corporates. As the economic landscape changed, so did its proposition, and the original definition of the offer no longer seemed to fit. After 18 months of trading, Risk Evolves wanted to review its offer and see how clients perceived it.

the challenge

Defining what Risk Evolves really delivers. After an in-depth interview with the principals, we were given authority to interview team members, associates, clients and suppliers, exploring the motivations, meanings and feelings connected with their experience of Risk Evolves.

what we did

Despite the volume and variety of responses, clear themes emerged. We summarised them in a draft narrative for discussion with the principals, addressed their questions, then turned it into an emotive narrative illustrated in text and images.

the results.

  • 5 groups interviewed: principals, team, associates, clients and suppliers
  • 1 narrative, shaped with the team
  • everyday language now used to attract, win and keep business, staff and associates

The narrative was embraced by the team, largely because they were involved in creating it.

We had not realised the depth of the investigation Glued would conduct. In turn, we now recognise the depth, quality and individuality of what we do. The narrative is a true reflection of us and it has not only become part of how we communicate, but also buoyed up our confidence.
