Context In 2012, well before remote e-learning became standard practice across the sector, training providers relied heavily on traditional classroom delivery, physical venues, and stacks of printed workbooks. Leaping Man Group, an established training provider, wanted to pioneer a more flexible, scalable way for learners to complete coursework, view video resources, and submit assessments from home.
The requirements Leaping Man Group needed an intuitive Learning Management System (LMS) to digitise classroom delivery, standardise course quality, and replace physical training materials. As early adopters in the LMS space, the challenge was to create a solution simple enough for non-technical tutors and students to adopt quickly, yet robust enough to manage course content, track learner progress, handle tutor messaging, and manage candidate licences across multiple programmes.
The outputs Glued partnered with Leaping Man Group to brand, design, and build the entire platform from the ground up, launching The Education Application (TEA).
Brand & Positioning: Uncovered a clear, memorable proposition – ”Isn’t it time your organisation had TEA?”– positioning the software as “The platform for standardised training.”
Platform Development: Custom-built an online LMS featuring video integration, downloadable slides, interactive workbooks, user tracking, tutor-to-learner messaging, and dedicated technical support management.
Marketing Website: Designed an engaging promotional site using clear messaging and warm imagery to explain the benefits of online delivery to prospective training organisations.
The results The platform eliminated paper-heavy administration, giving students the flexibility to learn at home while keeping tutors fully connected to candidate progress. Leaping Man Group rolled out The Education Application across its own training businesses to improve operational efficiency and completion rates. Demonstrating the commercial value of the underlying brand and technology, the platform was later successfully acquired by another major training provider.
