two nominations at Worcestershire TechFest.
Teams Glued has been nominated for Innovation Champion and Innovation Growth at the Worcestershire TechFest Awards 2027.
Teams Glued, the VR team-building programme I designed and built at Glued, has been nominated in two categories at the Worcestershire TechFest Awards 2027: Innovation Champion and Innovation Growth.
The awards are part of Worcestershire TechFest 3.0, which runs from 25 January to 4 February 2027. They recognise the people and businesses driving technology and innovation across Worcestershire.
a strong first year
The nominations follow Teams Glued being named a finalist for Innovation at both the Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber Awards 2026 and the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber Awards 2026. Since launching in February 2026, Teams Glued has also been a finalist at the Business Buzz UK Awards and runner-up at the Small Business Growth Awards. It was also selected to showcase at Frontiers Day during Birmingham Tech Week.
how Teams Glued works
Teams Glued uses VR and the Animal Profile to help teams understand how each person works. Players are profiled before the session. Then, in The Train Challenge, one player wears the headset and can only succeed if the team around the table communicates well. Afterwards, everyone reflects on what they learnt and takes it back to work. Businesses use it to improve team performance. Colleges use it for leadership development and student employability.
“Being nominated twice by TechFest means a lot because it’s about innovation in our own county. We built Teams Glued, with support from an Innovate UK grant, because so many teams struggle to share a vision when people don’t understand how each other works. Using VR to change that has been the most exciting project of my career.”
