Glued has been awarded an Innovate UK Launchpad grant to develop a new approach to team building, one that blends psychometrics and immersive technology.
introducing Teams Glued
Traditional team building is fun, but fleeting. Teams Glued changes that by putting personality profiling inside a virtual reality escape room, creating a safe, engaging space for teams to explore, adapt and grow together.
Teams are built from people’s different working styles, identified through a simple psychometric process. They then solve puzzles together in VR, learning to flex their behavioural style in real time.
why it matters
Workplace conflict costs UK businesses an estimated £28.5 billion a year. Teams Glued aims to reduce that, by helping teams work better together long after the day itself. Participants reflect on their behaviour, receive feedback and are followed up afterwards to track the impact.
built in Coventry and Warwickshire
The project is rooted in the creative and immersive industries of Coventry and Warwickshire, developed with local digital businesses. The ambition is a suite of programmes for sectors such as automotive, advanced manufacturing and video gaming, growing into a national offer.
