With increasing competition and the relelentless progression in web use, content is becoming more and more critical in the effectiveness of web sites. Students have high expectations of interaction and functionality.
Glued were commsioned by the University of Reading to produce an online career resource for Arts and Humanities PhD researchers.
Reading had interviewed PhD students about the challenges of being a researcher. They required a web site that could contain audio and video interviews and be managed through a Content Management System (CMS).
The resulting solution provided students with a rich resource which is fully searchable, allowing students to listen or watch indepth interviews.
The web site allows users to listen to audio online or download the files as Podcasts for off line listening.

Glued were able to provide not only web knowledge but also design a complete range of e-marketing and promotional tools to support the event.
Easy to updateGlued build custom CMS systems to enable staff at Reading to add all types of content through an online management tool.
The web site uses Google Analytics to enable full tracking of users to the site.

‘Glued provided us with a consistently professional service, bringing their creative and technical expertise to our project and helping us to achieve a unique and dynamic career development web resource for arts and humanities postgraduates.’
